Il Palio Announces New Executive Chef Adam Rose

Il Palio at the Siena Hotel in Chapel Hill, N.C. is excited to announce their new executive chef, Adam Rose. Rose will be returning to the hotel to take the lead of all dining operations beginning July 1, 2018.

Adam Rose, hailing from Long Island, N.Y. started out as a restaurant manager in Brooklyn, N.Y. There, he had a variety of jobs in the culinary industry before working at Jack the Horse Tavern in Brooklyn, N.Y. After he moved to North Carolina, Rose was the lead chef at Elaine’s on Franklin in Chapel Hill, N.C. before becoming the executive chef at Il Palio from 2007 to 2013. He was there from 2013 to 2015.

Anthony Carey, general manager of the Siena Hotel is excited to have Rose back in the kitchen. He states, "Having chef Adam walk back through the kitchen doors of Il Palio Restaurant was like a dream sequence from a movie. The staff was really happy to see him and to know he is returning as our chef. Several associates worked with chef Adam prior to his departure and were so excited to share with him all the great renovations that have taken place during his time away. It really was like a homecoming of sorts."

Guests of Il Palio and the Siena Hotel can anticipate exciting new offerings like cooking classes and intimate dining experiences with executive chef Adam Rose. Expect a new programs launching this summer like sangria making classes, culinary experiences in the kitchen with chef Rose and more.

As great chefs like Rose have done in the past at Il Palio, current executive chef Teddy Diggs is going out on his own venture and will be opening a restaurant in the Triangle. The restaurant will focus on Roman pizza and fried snacks.
